One night, as a newly single guy, the Say ZuZu boys tried to cheer me up by taking me out to Bowl-a-Rama. We joked that I might meet someone while bowling. At the time, I was driving a Toyota Tercel that my sister sold me for $1. It had serious muffler problems and a blown piston that caused it to spew oil smoke. The last verse is a direct personal confession. Originally, I envisioned this song with a “You Don’t Know How It Feels” meets “Out On The Weekend” arrangement. Instead, it turned into a classic Say ZuZu drop-D guitar fest.
